Winter is a nature lover's wonderland. Ski Beech Resort is one of the finest places to ski in North Carolina and features 15 slopes on 95 acres of skiable area with state-of-the-art snow making equipment. A tubing run is available for non-skiers and two freestyle terrain parks for snowboarders. Top off your winter activities with skating in our 7,000-foot ice skating rink and let the kids sled for free on sledding hill (next to Town Hall).

Every summer, our lakes, streams and mountains welcome avid fishermen, hikers, mountain bikers, golfers, and wildlife explorers. At 5,506 feet above sea level, our mild summer temperatures rarely exceed 73 degrees, even on the hottest day of the year.
